Here are my five questions that I would like to have answered by the end of the book.

1. Why did Christopher’s mother have an affair with Mr Shears and why did she leave Ed for her new boyfriend?
2. Why did his mother act the way she did in the first place? Why doesn’t she care about what’s happening to Christopher?
3. Why in god’s name did Ed Boone kill Mrs Shears dog Wellington?
4. What will happen when Christopher will meet his mother for the first time after he has thought she was dead.
5. How will Ed explain to Christopher why he killed the dog and will Christopher be able to forgive him for what he did?
